I’m passionate about supporting children and families in need.
My area of expertise is child protection, kinship assessments, permanence work.
I take pride in my job and knowing that I bring positive outcomes to the families I work with. I also support children and families who have been exposed to domestic abuse/ violence. This is an area I’m very passionate about as I’ve seen how it damages children.
I’m a safer together domestic abuse champion who has attended DV trainings run by David Mandel the founder of Safer together institute.

Adult domestic violence survivors, instead of being treated with compassion and support, consistent with their situation, are met with blame and a “failure to protect” mentality. Domestic violence perpetrators as parents are all but ignored by systems. Responses to these families are not always child-centered, which means child safety, stability, nurturance and healing from trauma would be the guiding principles of our interventions.
