Bio

Hi, I’m James! I’m:
🔘 A try-lingual (3 languages and bits & pieces of a dozen others!) native New Yorker who knows the city like the back of his hand because he’s walked, ridden, and driven it
🔘 An entrepreneurial can-do, will-do, jack-of-many-trades who has run a family printing business, multi-million dollar paid social campaigns, and a photo shoot of the Hamilton cast on an iPhone
🔘 Self-taught ex-designer, college-educated current writer, and trial-by-fire client manager - I’ve managed some of the hardest clients in the biz: i.e. NYC restaurant owners and thespians
🔘 Natural left-brain creative tendencies honed by decades of right-brain logic training

I’m a creative thinker with a data-centric paid social background, who has done sales, design, and writing.

I’m also:
🔘 a former gifted kid attendee at one of the top schools in the country who is used to chasing gold stars and getting a high off of achievement
🔘 depending on the crowd, the person most likely to volunteer to roll up their sleeves and fix something gnarly, whether it’s a blue screen of death, a busted toilet, or an ad campaign that’s performing terribly
🔘 constantly talking to strangers IRL and online while networking up a storm
🔘 a little Michelin Star, a little McDonald’s Dollar Menu - born and raised in NYC and comfortable with just about any setting
🔘 probably going to surprise you with a skill you didn’t know I had because standard resumes are only 1 page long

A lot of this gears me towards roles that mix client management with creative problem-solving - paid social strategy is my bread and butter, but my design, data, and creative writing backgrounds provide a lot of meat and veggies as value-adds.

I’m also an avid pool player who has met some of the most interesting people in New York by doing what I love.
