Bio

I am a former FLVS High School English teacher who decided to homeschool her 2 boys because they were too curious for school, way before the pandemic. When I am not homeschooling, I am reading about neuroscience, psychology, and nutrition. I enjoy tutoring Spanish and all subjects except math. I like to think I put up with math for the sake of science. I like to relate all I learn to what I read in the Bible and learn about multiple religions. Reading and writing is my hyper focus for my ADHD brain and cooking is my nightmare.

My friend Penny has this amazing non-profit to encourage literacy. Every year we give away tutoring hours, books or both to encourage literacy.

This August she gave away 102 books in South Carolina before the start of the school year.
