Glenn Gainor is the Head of Physical Production Amazon Original Movies, Amazon Studios. Before joining Amazon Studios, Gainor was Head of Physical Production for Screen Gems, a label under the Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group. Gainor has served as an executive producer and unit production manager on films such as The Wedding Ringer, Think Like A Man and Friends With Benefits. A cornerstone in Gainor's innovative approach to film production lies in the intersection of technology, sustainability and filmmaking. His passion led to Sony asking Gainor to head Sony Innovation Studios (SIS), a state-of-the-art facility housed on the Sony Pictures Studios lot. Gainor accepted a Lumiere Award on behalf of Sony Corp. from the Advanced Imaging Society and under his leadership, SIS garnered two Lumiere Awards for its volumetric pioneering.
