George Ye is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of UBIPOS UK LTD and CEO of Qiaozhi Technologies Co., LTD, a set of field/world-leading and internationally renowned geospatial science and civil engineering companies that has global excellence in delivering combined commercial and innovative systems and top-level government consultancy in the UK, EU and China.

UBIPOS UK LTD is the winner of ESA Innovation Project Company of the Year in 2015 and 2016 as well as numerous high-profile UK and China Government and Industry Project Awards. In 2017 UBIPOS was awarded to lead the iSHM Project (a jointly funded project between Innovate UK and Jiangsu Province of China).

In 2018 UBIPOS was a member of two leading UK enterprise delegation led and supported by Innovate UK in China which promotes UK excellence in Smart Cities, Structural Health Monitoring, Connected and Autonomous Vehicles/Intelligent Transportation Systems and Precision Agriculture. UBIPOS was also selected as a finalist to pitch for the prestigious Eurotunnel Open-Innovation Challenge 2018.

In 2019, UBIPOS was one of five leading UK SMEs that represented the UK at the Chongqing Intelligent Expo 2019 as well as visiting key governmental, academic and commercial partners in Chongqing, Chengdu and Shanghai, achieving notable international press coverage and commercial success. The GeoSHM Consortium also won The Engineer Magazine "Collaborate to Innovate 2019" Award for Connectivity, Data, and Information.

In 2020, UBIPOS was the first company to be highlighted by UKSA on Twitter for its award-winning ESA sponsored GeoSHM project in bridge structural health monitoring within the UK, China and globally.

In 2020/2021, George became the Co-Founder and CEO of Qiaozhi Technology LTD in Hangzhou, China.
