Faithe Colas began a 30 year career in print media and public relations with the Milwaukee Courier newspaper in 1987 and retired as publisher in the fall of 2007. Faithe joined The Salvation Army in the winter of 2007 as the community relations director for Milwaukee County.

On January 7, 2019, Faithe began a new role with the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office.

She is the president of VonCommunications LLC, a public relations business that specializes in meaningful community engagement. Von Communications was founded by her late husband, radio host, political commentator and community advocate, Eric Von. She’s a member of the National Coalition of Negro Women a member of WUWM Public Radio advisory board, and a lead volunteer fundraiser for the WUWM Eric Von Broadcast Fellowship. The fellowship honors the legacy and memory of her late husband, by fostering the next generation of broadcast journalists.

Faithe is known as the optimistic radio host of “There’s Always Something Good To Talk About”, a Saturday morning talk show on WNOV 860 AM/106.5 FM. The radio show focuses on good works and changing the narrative about Milwaukee and African American people.

She’s expanded her love for Milwaukee as a managing partner in FATSER Development LLC and Eden Development LLC. Her vision is to grow, invest and build in the Sherman Park neighborhood.

Faithe was born and raised in Milwaukee. She is a mother of a blended family to Paige, Erica and Bria. Is grandmother to Domonic and Erielle. She looks forward to visits from her granddog Bailey and lives in the Sherman Park neighborhood with her dog Maxx.
