Experience
It was in grade 9 that I started learning NLP and after an year long course it brought great transformation in me. Realising the power of NLP I did another course after which I conducted a small workshop for my fellow students in Ferguson College, Pune.
When the pandemic set in and I had a lot of time, I decided to do something using my academic skills. So I started an educational podcast for the students of grade 10, to help them study English Literature, History, and Geography.
Later, after finishing my Memory Training Certification, I conducted a paid workshop for all those who wanted to learner simple memory techniques.
I also started writing blogs on WordPress to share my learning with readers of all age groups.

My Goal
It was all this learning that made me want to take up Psychology in my grade 11 and 12. Learning Psychology made me realise that all that I had done till now had its base in the findings and research of core Psychology.
And that helped me set my short term and long term goal.
Short term - being eligible to get into King's College London for a BSc Psychology course.
Long term - helping teenagers get to the other side of 18.

The Why of my Goal
As a teenager, I have made my fair share of bad decisions. My relations with my parents deteriorated and I chose wrong friends. It was NLP that helped me realise it and come out of it.
Since then, my rapport with my mother - Dr Sabiha - is unparalleled. I now have meaningful friends too.
That doesn't mean that everything is how I would want it to be. The difference is that now I am well equipped to deal with those hardships.
So, after getting my Psychology degree, I want to be there for teenagers who need help and who want help. I wish to be a guide and a support for those who are in search of a way to resolve their problem and be better versions of themselves.
