Kenyan, professional musician, singer songwriter.
My music draws inspiration from a style Kenyan guitar music called OMUTIBO from the Luhya people of Western Kenya with elements of Acoustic Folk, Reggae, Jazz, Pop/Dance and World Music
Among my influences is the music of Eric Wainaina, George Mukabi(Kenya) Habib Koite (Mali), Ayub Ogada (Kenya) Bob Marley (Jamaica) and Richard Bona (Cameroon) & lately Adekunle Gold.
My debut album Kwetu (Home) features 10 songs and 4 bonus tracks of Isukuti percussion showcasing the roots percussion style of Western Kenya.
