OLD SCHOOL BIO
I have experience as a university professor, film producer, film festival arts administrator, film acquisitions/distribution executive, marketing specialist, and public speaker.

Early in my career, I was an associate producer for the nationally syndicated TV show "Entertainment Tonight" in New York City. As the Director of Production and Acquisition at USA Films (Focus Features) I evaluated scripts,developed talent packages and targeted completed films for theatrical acquisitions. My film credits with USA Films include "Girls Town" directed by Jim McKay, "The Addiction" directed by Abel Ferrara, "Trippin" directed by David Raynr and "Boricua’s Bond" directed by Val Lik. I also served as the Executive Producer on "The Adventures of Teddy P. Brains" an award winning feature length animation film for children. As a festival arts administrator, I have experience as the Artistic Director for the Jamerican International Film and Music Festival held in Montego Bay, Jamaica WI with Founder/Actress/Activist/DIVA Sheryl Lee Ralph and I am currently a program specialist for the BlackStar Film Festival.

I’m currently Executive Producing “The Greener Grass" an anime series that depicts a Western European society construct, which is exploited through cognitive dissonance that transpires between Euro-Hegemony and Colonial Capitalism vs. Black Marxism (Black Radical Socialist Theory) and Indeginious spiritual practices. The insect colony represents the psychological impact of intersectionality and feudalism; when the insect's morals, collectivism and awareness are tested.
In addition to teaching Race and Ethnicity in American Cinema at Temple University, I have lectured on topics of Film Producing and Distribution, Black Cinema and Media Literacy at The New School and Swarthmore College.
