Ali (Ardeshir) Entezari Ph.D. (1960) Associate Professor of sociology and faculty member of Allameh Tabatabai’ University since 1989. He is writer of social studies for junior High School since 1990 and sociology for senior High school recently. Entezari has performed the first comprehensive cultural census (2000) with almost 50 publications some named as “Iranian Cultural Spaces” (Fazahayeh Farhangi Iran); known as the greatest Iranian research. He is instructor of ‘sociological theory’ for Ph. D. candidates and MA students and also used to teach ‘history of social thought in Iran’ at MA. He taught ‘Iranian social problems’ and ‘sociology of education’ at BA level. Entezari has suggested a new concept of ‘polarization’ as alternative to ‘globalization’. He has been head of sociology department at Allameh Tabatabai’ University since 2010.
