Lord, we need strength and courage.
Strength to stand.
Courage to persevere.
Wisdom that allows us to focus beyond this moment in time
Beyond the emotions prompted by sudden storms
Beyond history and ambiguities and secrets shrouded in fear.

Lord, we need clarity of thought and vision uninhibited.
Clarity of thought that allows us to discern with accuracy.
Uninhibited vision that sees beyond cloaking devises and crafty communication.
Sound reasoning that rebukes double mindedness and indecisiveness.
Prevention is always a better plan than cure.
Help us Lord not to be fooled by trickery and hidden agendas.

Lord, we need self-control and accountability
Self-control that exhibits spiritual maturity and seals a legacy of honor
Accountability that fosters justice and encourages fairness.
This house of flesh that my spirit lives in wars against God.
God please help me to internalize the message I preach to others.
I struggle too.
When I try to do the right thing
Evil is peeking around the corner enticing this flesh to act out.

Lord, we need favor and direction
Undeserved blessings to achieve the impossible
Personalize roadmaps to arrive safely at a God designed destination in a timely manner
The landscape of our lives is filled with bumps in the roads and hazardous crossings
Send your angels, Lord.
An army of angels to escort me to that God destined place.
Call for goodness…
Beckon mercy…
All the days of my life may I long for your presence and
Abide under your shadow in a sacred place called Peace.
