An owner and a tour leader of the Elegant Cultural Tours, a boutique tour company, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, EU.
We prepare, organize and lead our own boutique tours with cultural content to Cuba, Morocco, and within a grand tour From Vienna to Venice (via Ljubljana and Slovenia).

I am the owner, a tour leader and a guide of our tours :-) I started this agency because I wanted to share my passion, love and respect for high art with the guests that love it. Our main objective is to bring beautiful and elegant experiences to our guests. And it is also to educate with a direct experience and contribute with it to a better understanding of the world and its people.

I have been working in tourism, actively leading tours and organizing programs since 2002.

Am a professor of art history and sociology of culture by profession and that is also the main content of our tours- high art, history, classical music and cultural topics.

Our tours include very unique and special cultural events, expert talks, private concerts, storytelling, hands-on creative workshops and are meant for guests that are interested in the topics of culture and want more than just an accumulation of knowledge and dry guiding.

All our events are fulhearted and presented with a big passion (be it me guiding or our chosen experts) with the aim of a direct involvement in the topic, or the places we visit.

Our accomodations and transportations, as well as dining are all hand picked and chosen on the basis of beauty, quality and support for the local people.

Our main objective is meaningful relationships and travel within a boutique program, but still travel real and with quality insights.

I adore tea (at the moment I love Assam and Pu-Erh teas), I spend a lot of time cooking and love going to galleries, museums, classical music concerts and wonderful restaurants. When I feel down a visit to a café or a museum is usually a sucessful remedy :-)

My favorite part of the museum work is museum pedagogics and creative ways on presenting art works to the visitors! Oh, that really is my big passion :-)
