Artist and curator, part of the Brush Tu Artist collective based in Nairobi. Very actively seeking to support and build more sustainable infrastructure for the contemporary art practitioners in the East African region.
"Emmaus Kimani is a Kenyan born poet, a philosopher expressing themselves in numerous media." My work generally revolves around exploring the essence of humanity; looking at us as emotional beings, and through the logics we're taught and have been socialized into; I'm constantly exploring our abilities to refrain and or be persuaded by these powerful external forces in societies we exist in.
