✅Trying to leave a bit of sparkle everywhere I go ✨

🚩From Nepal 🇳🇵

Dr. Roshan Baskota, a registered Ayurveda doctor from Nepal. He obtained his degree inAyurveda, Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), from Ayurveda Campus, Institute of Medicine under Tribhuwan University. Dr. Baskota is passionate about exploring the ancient wisdom of health and has traveled to various Himalayan regions in search of Ayurvedic herbs and minerals.

During his academic years, Dr. Baskota worked as a
research supervisor at Nepal Health Research Council (NHRC), where he had the opportunity to explore remote places in Nepal and learn about traditional healing practices. His research paper on knowledge diversity is available on the NHRC website.

In addition to Ayurveda, Dr. Baskota holds certification in Advanced Metabolic Endocrinology from the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, which helps him understand the functioning of the body in-depth.
After working for more than two years in clinical practice in Ayurveda clinics and hospitals, Dr. Baskota worked as an Ayurveda doctor at The Dwarikas Himalayan Shangrila Village Resort in Dhulikhel, where he focused on preventive, promotive, and well-being aspects of Ayurveda. He highly recommends this beautiful resort to anyone interested in exploring Ayurveda.

The COVID-19 pandemic changed Dr. Baskota's life significantly. Hedecided to serve as a frontline Ayurveda practitioner for COVID-19 patients in Nepal, and he joined the District Ayurveda Health Center in Doti, a remote location in the Far-West Region. Although it was challenging at first, he started participating in community awareness programs and received multipletrainings from the Nepal Government, such as ToT on NCDs, Clinical Yoga, and Marma therapy.

Dr. Baskota also examines the patient's nails, eyes, and tongue to diagnose diseases, as these body parts are believed to reflect the patient's overall health status. For example, a pale tongue may indicate anemia, while a yellowish tint may suggest liver problems. In this way, Dr. Baskota uses a holistic approach to diagnose and treat his patients, incorporating both modern medical knowledge and ancient Ayurvedic wisdom.
