Family and Culinary Medicine Physician.

Focus: Preventative Medicine, Public Health (especially with my Latinx familia), Planetary 🌎 culinary medicine, and improving healthcare in general (it’s a broken system)😣.

Climate action activist.
Advocated a sustainable plant-forward menu started at physician meetings that was eventually implemented at ALL Sharp Healthcare Hospitals in San Diego....stay tuned for more amazing news to come.

Currently: Promoting the culture of evidenced-based culinary medicine with colleagues and the community through virtual efforts. One where the focus is on human and planetary health.

Co-Medical Director at VEBA, California’s Public School Employee resource/wellness center for evidenced based health in a mind, body, spirit philosophy. I also teach health promoting culinary medicine classes weekly.
