Twenty-six years old a mother of two wonderful children. In 2017 the day after Christmas Destiny found out at twenty-two and pregnant with her second child that she was HIV Positive.
The very thing that we would have thought would destroy her. Turned into a handful of continuous blessings.
In 2019 Destiny started blogging on the platform A Girl Like Me through The Well Project. She became one of the top 10 most read blogs in 2019. Destiny was also featured in two magazines Cosmopolitan, and Innovative Woman. In February of 2020 Destiny became a member on the Community Advisor Board for The Well Project. May of 2020 Destiny self published her very first book Living My Truth on Amazon.
Also in may Destiny got to attend her very speaking engagement at Sippin Mental Tea hosted by Aniyah’s Space. Destiny opened her first business Living My Truth LLC July of 2020. In February of 2021 Destiny got the opportunity to interview Gina Brown, RSW, Community Engagement Manager for The Southern AIDS Coalition. In August of 2021 Destiny was a Featured Speaker on A Girl Like Me Live.
