Hi I am Dyana Dessar, founder and lead planner at optimum weddings by Dyana Dessar.
For the last 14 years I have been creating luxury destination weddings in Europe for the most discerning couples, 10 years ago I decided to concentrate on the niche markets of Indian and Jewish destination weddings. During this time with my amazing team we have designed and managed many stunning events in wonderful locations, whilst doing this I realised that although there are many beautiful venues across Europe many do not have the specialist knowledge and understanding to accept my very special events with full confidence... with this in mind two things happened.

The first, Optimum consulting was born! Through this arm I work with suitable venues and their events team to share my knowledge and make sure they are fully prepared to welcome weddings in these fast growing sectors for destination weddings.

The second, The destination wedding planner success school came about, over the years colleagues and friends have come to me asking for information on where to start if they want to offer destination weddings as part of their services, the school runs a short course at different times through out the year or tailor made one to one sessions, all moving towards making the destination wedding industry a more knowledgable sector. I am passionate about the wedding industry as a whole and truly believe that collaboration over competition is the best way to work. #togtherwearestronger ddx
