I’m a Nashville native who has been in the business for over 20 years. I started out in music publishing working for David Conrad and Lance Freed. It was there that I found my love for songwriters and songs. When I left Publishing, I started doing A&R for independent producer, Dann Huff. I didn’t stay away from publishing long. Along with my A&R duties, Huff and I started our own publishing venture which was later purchased by BMG.
Sheltered Music has been somewhat of a reunion. I’m back working with both Lance Freed and Dann Huff which is where it all began for me. I have a growing roster of talent that i’m very excited about including Rodney Crowell, Emmylou Harris, Melissa Peirce, Sara Haze, Jenna LaMaster, Cameron Jaymes, & Kelsey Waters.
