My name is Mahamed Caalim
I am Ambassador of Peace, Somali political analyst and former diplomat. I am graduate of B.Sc. from Somalian National University, Department of Political Science 1986–1990.


I came to Finland as immigrant January 2, 1992.

I have continued my studies 1997-1998 in Worker’s Academy in Finland about development of developing countries.


I have also worked 2000-2006 for Finnish Red Cross.

Now I am working assisting Finnish Immigration Office with refugees.

I am chairman and the founder of European Somalian Association.

I have been working long time for integration of Somalians in Finland.

I am board member of Finnish Peace Institute. I am member of National Coalition Party (Kokoomus).

I am a father of six children and I came to Finland 29 years ago.

I am analyst of Somali situation e.g. Al Jazeera, Somali BBC, Somali VOA and different Somali radio stations.

I have always dreamed of peace and prosperity of Somalia, and therefore I frequently participate in various international events.
