My core values when thinking about a better state of freelancing:
1️⃣ Although the decision to become a freelancer should not be taken lightly, starting your freelance career should be straightforward, if not simple.
2️⃣ Freelancers (and 1099s, generally) deserve access to affordable, W2-like benefits and protections.
3️⃣ We are not cheap labor.
4️⃣ Communities are about teams and culture, not sales. Sales are a byproduct of great teams and culture.
