🔎 The tea:
🔱 I just completed the doctoral program in the depth psychology, Jungian and Archetypal Studies program at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Carpinteria, California.
🔱 In my dissertation, I applied a Jungian-depth psychological lens to understand and interpret non-ordinary states of consciousness including numinous, perinatal, out-of-body, hypnagogic, and other transpersonal phenomena associated with flotation-REST (restricted environmental stimulation technique).
🔱 I explored archetypal, alchemical, and somatic themes, patterns, and motifs observable in the experience of flotation.
🔱 Flotation tank therapy, originally pioneered by John C. Lilly at the National Institute of Mental Health in 1954, is a holistic, water-based form of sensory deprivation and isolation therapy.
