Last January, after we celebrated another year in business, and so many fulfilling connections and collaborations made with other female-founded businesses, our Ettakit team decided we wanted to pay homage to the women of Chicago who are making waves, building community, and breaking glass ceilings.

“Second to None: Interviews and Inspiration from Chicago’s Female Founders,” a print book containing 27 unique interviews with Chicago’s leading female founders from a diverse set of industries ranging from tech to finance to hospitality. Their stories are a testament to the work being done in our great city by women who are fearless in the pursuit of their dreams and intent on opening doors for our next generation of girls and women.

Bringing this book to life has been such an amazingly inspiring journey, as would not have been possible without the support of our team & all the women that stepped forward to donate their time & talent to this effort. We also aspire to follow in the footsteps of the women featured in “Second to None” by building supportive communities here in Chicago, so we’ve partnered with the Chicago Foundation for Women to donate 100% of the book’s profits.
