“Post hoc ergo propter hoc” is a fallacy

Meaning is not inherent in objects; rather, we attribute meaning to them. When we gaze at a painting, it doesn’t bestow meaning upon us; instead, we imbue it with our own interpretation. The color blue, in and of itself, lack intrinsic meaning; individuals assign significance to it based on their personal emotions and associations. Therefore, to inquire about the meaning of life is an inadequate question, as each person imparts their own meaning to their existence, with each interpretation being unique. Some may propose the idea of formless, all knowing deity bestowing upon them, but I would argue that it is they who ascribe purpose to their own lives through their belief in God.
