Hello everyone. My name is Lisa. I live in central Connecticut, growing zone Zone 5B. I'm a very passionate organic gardener - growing only heirloom varieties many of which are rare / exotic. Outside of my food gardens, when it comes to my yard design, it is filled with plants that are native and beneficial to birds and insects. I stick to plants that are pollinator attractors, pollinator friendly and host plants.
I've been gardening for 38 years.
I'm also a worm farmer/worm hobbyist (okay I'm worm obsessed 🙃🪱😊).
My love of vermiculture started in 1987 - 34 short years ago🙄
I raise six different species of compost worms both indoors and out.
