Mindfulness Recipe Creator, Trained Chef (International Culinary Center), Recipe Developer and Mental Health Activist
Teaching Cooking Lessons with the purpose of creating a new Mental Wellness activity.
After dealing with chronic anxiety, learning disabilities and invisible illness my confidence was gone- I took a job and over compensated for my lack of confidence by overworking, it took my hair falling out to make me realize that I could not keep living the way I was. I quit and went to culinary school and it changed my life.
I started CookedbyLO to be a sanctuary, for those who love to cook, hate to cook, have to cook, and want to learn to cook. Cooking has been the most amazing outlet for me, as someone with chronic anxiety and other mental health troubles in the past. But after going to culinary school I realized how meditative cooking truly was and started to journal about the techniques I was subconsciously using in school daily and created cookedbylo to share what I found helped me most, after figuring out what was helping my confidence I started creating recipes that have steps for mindfulness and confidence boosting so that you can gain what I have from cooking.
