Over my life, I’ve been a working musician, hotel maid, hotel manager, bull rider manager, residential addictions recovery program director, pipe fitter, specialty coffee consultant, blacksmith, and more.

I’ve been homeless, on a chain gang, and have known what real hunger is. I’ve also earned a doctorate of divinity from the only educational institution that did not show me the door.

I used to talk a lot, but the older I get, the more I value listening.

Interests include making, depth psychology, maths I don’t understand, product development, business scaling, neuroscience, regenerative agriculture, what the next iteration looks like, and exploring the space where tradition meets innovation.
