My discovery of photography:

During August 2017, Hurricane Harvey struck the city of Rock Port, Texas head on. I was a Logistic System Specialist for the Federal Emergency Management Agency under Homeland Security. The storm had ripped through many south Texas cities and we were expected to be there for the entire year. During my stay I enjoyed the nature Texas had to offer, the most beautiful skies and wide open views. I purchased my first camera, a Canon T7i with the very simple 18-55mm kit lens. On my off days I’d travel to Austin, Corpus Christi, Houston and College Station to go on long outdoor hikes snapping landscape images. Texas is where I feel in love with photography, I was there to support the state and it ended up changing my life forever. I’d shoot everything; nature, lamps, rocks and the inside of my hotel room. When my time in Texas was up, I had a completely different mindset on where I wanted to take my life. Before photography I wanted stability and normalcy but now I wanted adventure and a challenge. I resigned from my government job, married my wife and moved to Canada to start my new career and raise a family. I decided to challenge myself and began to shoot people and re-fell in love with photography. Now I am a locally known Beauty and Fashion Photographer.
