Dr. China L. Wilson has over 20 years of experience within a variety of service areas to include workforce development, higher education/K-12, education policy, civil rights law compliance, and diversity/equity awareness. As a first-generation college student, Dr. Wilson knows first-hand the issues faced by many students and it is her mission to use her experiences to advance efforts for effective education policy development.

Dr. Wilson’s doctoral research explored state appropriation priorities and the impact stakeholders have on funding policy priorities for education. She explored the role special interest groups play in influencing the course and outcome of complexities between local communities, school systems, and governments. Dr. Wilson takes pride in the role she plays to create strategic partnerships that promote the development of holistic policies that help mitigate and resolve issues around access, affordability, and accountability. Dr. Wilson partners with the Federal government, key officials, and policymakers to develop and implement effective protocols, procedures and programs.

Dr. Wilson is frequently called upon by multiple media outlets to discuss her work in the community as she contributes to the core purposes in education and research in ways that redound to the benefit of local communities as well as national and global communities.

CLW Consulting LLC is a consulting firm specializing in change management to provide strategic planning that integrates an anti-oppression framework for organizations effected by diversity, equity, inclusion issues related to Title VI (Civil Rights Act), Title II (ADA), Section 504, and Title IX (Gender Discrimination/Sexual Misconduct). CLW Consulting, LLC provides education consulting services to promote change that matters in areas related to social policy, legislative impartiality, and equity for marginalized populations.
