Van Carter is a FL, NC Broker/Realtor and investor. She is the Founder/CEO of Solid Families Inc. a nonprofit organization and Solid Families Housing LLC. She is Managing Broker and Partner for Carter-Dean Residential & Carter- Dean Realty and PC Real Estate Firm. Van's experience includes Affordable Housing Compliance, Housing Management, property renovations, business and financial management, budgeting, and marketing, in the housing industry. Van has 23 years experience in working with Multi-Family Affordable Housing Market. Van also specializes in working with HUD, Rural Development, Tax Credit And Community Block Grant housing programs, at which she has overseen a portfolio of housing units fluctuating from 1,900 to 2,600 units over the years. Van has also performed case management for local county governments in Housing and Community Development. Van manages her own Brokerage with a team of agents who assist individuals with selling, buying, and investing in real estate. Van is also managing Broker for PC Real Estate Firm, which is a nonprofit real estate firm that provides Affordable Housing Initiatives through out America. Van is currently the owner and director of two Transitional Homes which provide shared housing and self sufficiency services to young adult females aging out of foster care.
