I was diagnosed with MS almost 2 years ago and I know my ability to do cakes has helped my disability.

I started out doing cakes for church. My mother was over Pastor’s Aide. She needed someone to make cakes as a fundraiser. I said, “Mama I will try!” The rest is history 20+ years later.

I do cakes part-time on the weekends. The most exciting thing about cakes over the years is I have customers that have grown up with my cake business/hustle. I have customers I have done their wedding cake, divorce cake, their wedding cake again, babyshower cakes, birthdays, etc. The best part cakes go/grow with you.

I miss being an instructor because I learned from my students just as much as they learned from me. There is so much to learn in this art form. It’s art so there are many ways to achieve the final product. I just want to continue learning and growing.

God is a Waymaker!!!
