Dr. Catina Miller on Clubhouse

Bio

Dr. Catina Miller, a military veteran, graduated from Texas Woman’s University with a Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Miller is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Master Social Worker and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate. She has extensive mental health experience in working with individuals, couples, families and children dealing with behavioral, familial, relational and substance abuse issues. In 2019, Dr. Miller completed her dissertation titled “The Impact of Police Racial Bias and Brutality Towards Unarmed African Americans on African American Families with Minor Children.” Dr. Miller co-authored an article with Dr. Brigitte Vittrup, titled, ‭“The ‬Indirect Effects of Police Racial Bias on African American Families”, which has been published in the Journal of Family Issues.
