In terms of traditional media, I’ve shared my dulcet tones as a media commentator for various BBC shows. This includes a segment on BBC World News. In relation to articles, I’ve been featured in BBC Online and The Guardian.
I’m a Winston Churchill Fellow. And as an Ambassador, I went to China to research how older people are integrated into society. Learning Mandarin in 5 months was a bit tricky. But by the time I arrived in Beijing, it wasn’t too shabby!
Fun Fact - Back in the day as a teenager, I used to dream of being Bruce Lee’s sparring partner🤣. I loved practicing the roundhouse kick! Alas, my dream didn’t come true🤩But since the ‘egg and spoon race’ I’ve exercised for 53 years🌞
