👩🏽‍⚖️✊🏼AB 384: Legislation for a legal pathway allowing pets to have access to medicinal cannabis products in California.

🩺 This bill will also allow veterinarians to recommend cannabis products to their patients.

Assembly Member Ash Kalra (D- San Jose) is the author of AB 384 and a leader on cannabis. He authored AB 2215 in 2019 and that took the first important step of allowing veterinarians to discuss (not recommend) cannabis with their patients without fear of legal retribution.

VETCBD has been working with a broad coalition of interested groups to support Assembly Member Kalra's bill. Coalition members include local and national animal rights and animal rescue organizations, veterinarians, and members of the cannabis industry.
