Women motivational speakers empower, and as one of the inspirational talkers who has had the privilege of educating, entertaining, and encouraging audiences for over two decades, I do that by inspiring audiences to believe the truth: that the world needs their work.
My expertise is in books, news, innovation, and leadership.
With a special interest in diversity and inclusion, I'm a speaker committed to building a more inclusive publishing industry. As a publishing expert who helped create bestsellers, I help writers understand book publishing and how to get their work into the process, sharing the never-taught book publishing education writers need. I help and motivate writers to persist despite the impossible, showing them how to navigate a system typically closed to them. As part of that work, I love hosting public conversations with authors who are launching their latest books.
As a business speaker, I help executives and entrepreneurs understand why publishing a book is good for business, and share with corporate audiences the necessary leadership strategies on how to create joy in the workplace, from the content and publishing executive who's done it.
Inspirational talkers say aloud the unsaid questions of the heart and my feeling-centered talks help women and collegiate audiences overcome the impossible.
Whether it's keynotes, after-dinner talks, author events, book clubs, or popular stand-alone workshops such as my signature Writing Group Matchmaking connection event, I'm a sought-after speaker inspiring audiences in-person and via Zoom at Harvard Business School, Book Expo of America, Digital Book World, Writer’s Digest Annual Conference, Case Western Reserve University, Gilda’s Club, the Union Club, the Cleveland Public Library, the Great Lakes African American Writers Conference and the Digital Publishing Innovation Summit, to name a few favorites.
I’m excited to join you here.
