B Noel Thomas is an award-winning performing artist and teacher, currently based in the Bay Area, CA. A graduate of Oakland School of the Arts, B was a member of (and award-winning choreographer for) the nationally-recognized a capella group Vocal Rush. With their versatile baritone-to-alto voice it has allowed them to be able to play roles that run the gamut of gender and vocal range. A selection of their credits includes ABC American Idol Season 3, The Toxic Avenger (Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award winner, Theatre Bay Area Award nominee), Tinderella: The Modern Musical (Dylan; Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award nomination, original cast recording available on Spotify), Sister Act (Deloris; Theatre Bay Area Award nominee), The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Clopin; Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle Award nomination), Seussical (Sour Kangaroo), Sweeney Todd (Beadle Bamford), Hairspray (Motormouth Maybelle) and Ain't Misbehavin'.
As well as work with Broadway Royalty such as Jason Robert Brown, Anika Nani Rose, Kate Baldwin, and George Salazar, etc.
When they aren't on stage, Thomas is the music director for children conservatories around the bay area , and also works with the non-profit Peter Pan Foundation to help raise money for Children's Hospital Oakland. They aspire to inspire! (They/She/He)
