Bio

Wendy Ou has worked as Engineering manager and Agile Coach since 2013.

Wendy grew up in Taiwan and has studied and lived in New York City from 1992 to 2003. She graduated from Manhattan school of Music in Performing Arts and received master’s degree from University of Texas, Arlington for Executive Master of Business Administration. She is currently based in Taipei and travels frequently to San Jose, Manila, Amsterdam, Gent, Harsum, Lodz, Shanghai and other cities in the region for projects and coach and facilitate programs.

Wendy’s career in management began in Taipei, where she held positions with China Engineering Consultant, Inc as project manager, Trend Micro as Program Manager; TomTom as ScrumMaster, Agile Coach, Ambassador, and Engineering Manager.

Wendy’s primary expertise is in leadership and team development, organizational development, operational management and innovation process and culture. Wendy develops content, facilitates events and workshops, and coaches Scrum teams. She is certified in PMI, CSPO, CSM, ACP and a several specialized methodologies, including SAFe, Scrum, Project management, Social Styles.

Wendy has more than 15 years of profession experience in business and people management, coaching and facilitation. She believes in life-long learning and being accountable for self and one’s environment in life. Her strength is in team developing to achieve the goal, operational excellence, and objective analysis of complex issues support her team toward an alignment of physical, mental and the nature of the matter. Her method in facilitating and coaching is to stimulate the thought process of individuals to work coherently in one’s personal life, organization and environment toward setting a common goal and clear priorities. Together with her willingness to share her learning, she has successfully supported many individuals discover strength, position one’s roles and responsibilities in life and work, and make challenging commitments moving forward toward self, team and people they influence.

Wendy is also an active pianist and celloist playing in church’s choir, chamber music and orchestra. She is the mother of 10 years old chihuahua and enjoy travel and outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking and skiing with her newlywed husband.
