Benson is a 501(c)(3) founder with a vision to create a world where a person’s ability to see is not dependent on the location of their birth or the color of their skin!

By YE 2022, barely 2 years after our founding, and thanks to our donors, volunteers and supporters, we have delivered free eye screenings, cataract surgeries and Rx glasses to almost 8,000 impoverished individuals in Africa with preventable blindness!

Having been born/ raised in Africa living on less than a dollar/ day, to become the first in his family with college degrees and a successful career in US fortune 100 companies, Benson feels it is his privilege to help others that couldn’t help themselves.

Globally, 2.2 billion people have visual impairments, more than half of which are in developing countries and a significant portion unaddressed because of poverty. Benson and his team are on a mission to change that!

Relief for Human Suffering Foundation is a US 501c (3) with a mission to restore the gift of sight and reduce the suffering caused by easily treatable eye impairments & medical conditions in developing countries. The Charity works with trusted local NGOs to provide relief for impoverished people. And where feasible, they connect beneficiaries with resources to put them on paths to self reliance
