Writer by profession. Feel that reading and reading a lot is the ultimate purpose of my existence.
I am reading 'Alternate Realities- Love in the lives of Muslim Women (I'd give 10 stars out of 5) , re-reading Dietland by Sarai Walker and if it wasn't such a scathing and hard book ( so bloody rewarding and gratifying as well) I'd make it essential reading for all men and women!
I am also reading Men Who Hate Women , कटरा बी आरज़ू , महा समर (खंड एक).
Have recently authored a book in Hindi called Hairat E Aashiqui - हैरत - ए - आशिक़ी available on kindle.
I speak mainly Hindustani ( not hindi) and English. Bettering my Urdu and learning Persian.

I am falling in love with Akbar Allahbadi and Amir Khusrau at the moment. But Ashapurna Debi ( in translation) has all of my heart and so do some other bengali authors.

I write for hindi GEC. I call myself a feminist but am usually called Femi-nazi because I don't keep quiet for too long which terrifies the small minded men.
I am also fun and love watching the trashy Bollywood films which are so bad that they are genius - for eg Clerk and Dhadkan.
