Growing up in an abusive home, I didn't understand what was happening to me; all I knew was that something felt wrong. I felt wrong. I sat on the floor by my dresser one night, picturing a cloud 🌫 over my head filled with the mess that was my feelings and issues. I couldn't describe a single one of them. I was distressed because how could I solve my problems if I couldn’t understand them and turn that cloud into something tangible? I was determined to do that. So, after a lifetime of reflection, that’s what I do, and I show others they can do the same.
