On a quest to create a civilization-scale awareness, because our planetary system needs to be able to feel pain in order to avoid self-destruction.

My background is in computer science, perceptual neuroscience, probabilistic inference, data science, and technical product development. I’ve been programming in Python for over a decade at this point, and I’ve been using and marveling at AWS since its birth.

Over the last few years I have decided to commit the rest of my working life to the climate crisis. I am currently a software engineer and startup utility player at WeaveGrid, a truly exciting company working at the intersection of the electricity grid and EVs.

I am still amazed at the power and unrealized potential of the cloud and ubiquitous networked devices, and I believe the story there is only beginning.
