I’ve written one picture book on “The Talk”(conversations black parents have w/their kids regarding police interactions) and another on Bullying. My latest two center around a spunky, picky eater and a girl 👧🏾obsessed with her boots👢.

My first book, “Momma, Did You Hear the News?” is NOT anti police...It IS anti-police brutality and it helps ALL parents and teachers have this really difficult but necessary conversation.

My journey so far has definitely been an adventure!! Worked in some really cool spaces (96 Olympic Games, Nike, Detroit Pistons, UMich Athletics and assistant to ELynn Harris)...then pivoted to Social work as a School Based Therapist/Social Worker. Raised two amazing young men (both currently at HBCUs) and still raising my surprise baby girl. But now it’s all about writing children’s books and understanding my true purpose ❤️
