Reya has been training in Hindustani Classical music for the last 14 years under the tutelage of Acharya Jayanta Bose.

Reya has performed in a lot of noted experimental concerts such as Vocal Symphony, Bengali Qawali, Music-o-Mime, Bengali Operatic and East- West. 

Her ensemble, Reya’s Ensemble has performed at Music Mojo Season 4 and has produced some quality experimental music with over millions views on YouTube. She is also the front woman of The A.R Rahman Funk Collective that produces famous A.R Rahman songs in their own interesting way which mainly has Funk & Jazz influences, with rich harmonies and different interesting grooves.
