India’s first independent music magazine, popularly known as RSJ was founded and launched by late Amit Saigal in 1993, becoming the voice for Independent musicians and a community which did not not exist back in the day. Over the years RSJ has developed, created many successful music festivals and IPs that have immense cult followings among the Indian audiences. These include festivals like Great Indian Rock (GIR) with 14 past editions, India Music Week (IMW)- a unique gathering of music business professionals discovering Indian talent through music conferences & showcases, Pub Rock Fest, Global Groove and RSJ Massive hosting artists/ bands across multiple genres like Divine, Bipul Chettri, Pentagram, Indian Ocean, Parikrama (India), Satyricon (Norway), Shawn Lane (USA), Intronaut (USA), Modeselektor (Germany), Meshuggah (Sweden), Enslaved (Norway), John Myung from DreamTheatre (USA), and Tesseract (UK) amongst many others.
