Bio

Ariel Kahana is the Senior Diplomatic Correspondent for Israel Hayom, Israel’s most widely circulated and read newspaper. In this position, Ariel leads the paper’s coverage of the Prime Minister both at home and abroad.
Ariel accompanies the Prime Minister on his travels to the United Nations, the United States and around the world. Ariel also covers the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Israel’s relations with the Jewish Diaspora. Ariel started his career as a journalist in 1997 as the anchor and Knesset Reporter for Arutz Sheva (Chanel 7). After nearly 10 years at Arutz Sheva, he left to become the Economic Correspondent and eventually Editor the Daily Edition at Makor Rishon.
From 2010-2017 he was the diplomatic correspondent at Makor Rishon and Ma’ariv. He left in 2018 to join Israel Hayom where his reach, influence and daily coverage of Israel’s diplomatic events have brought him to far corners of the world, including Bahrain, the UAE and a few other countries he visited with Senior Israeli officials for “off the record” visits and meetings.
Ariel lives with his wife Limor and seven children in the beautiful Israeli community of Geva Binyamin.
