PhD in Neuroscience from UPenn
Worked with in vivo chemogenetics, optogenetics, microdialysis, viral tracing, activity-dependent expression, and a variety of fluorescence microscopy platforms to map out the contributions of an evolutionarily conserved circuit in the brain to addiction and anxiety (the medial habenula — interpeduncular nucleus axis).
Sci-Fi and neurophilosophy were my gateways to neuroscience, and I love learning from conversations with others.
