• PhD in Visual Communication (University of Minho.)
• Postdoctoral at School of Fine Arts at Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, developing studies on contemporary visual practices that problematize the hybrid forms of photography.

• Member of the curatorial board of Photography Museum of Fortaleza and artistic advisor at FotoFestival SOLAR.
• Adjunct Guest teacher at Polytechnic Institute of Porto (School of Media Arts and Design) where coordinates the International Summer School dedicated Storytelling and photobooks.
• Adjunct Teacher at the Universidade Lusófona /School of Communication, Architecture, Arts and Information Technologies (ECATI).
• Artistic director and Co-founder of the Portuguese Festival "Encontros da Imagem", an International Photography Festival based in Braga, Portugal.

• She has worked as a curator of national and international exhibitions :

* 2019: Guest curator of the GoaPhoto Festival in India and Korea International PhotoFestival in Seoul.
* 2018: Guest curator of Beijng Biennial of Photography in China, organized by the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Beijing Art Museum (CAFA Art Museum).
