From an early age I have been interested in telling stories, and I started Mattima Films not only as a home for my own projects, but to also work with other emerging filmmakers, creating both the space and freedom needed to develop films as well as nourish talent. It’s a space where we are free to tell our stories while sharing a creative vision through collaborations with people who inspire each other. Coming from a background in performing arts, I use my tools as a choreographer to combine dance and film. As a director I like to challenge the norm and engage in female-forward narratives.
