Hiya! I'm Mel and I'm a writer, geek, gamer, witch, psychic, medium, certified energy practitioner (reiki master), muse, scifi/horror/fantasy fan, crazy cat lady, and listener of U2, NIN, grunge, new wave, ambient, house, jazz, and classical music.

I encountered my first spirit at age 3, started reading Tarot at 12, and started practicing witchcraft shortly thereafter. I published my first poem in high school, wrote horoscopes and reviews for the Heights while studying filmmaking and screenwriting at Boston College, moved to LA to pursue writing and wound up working as a Psychic/Medium at the Green Man Store in NoHo after taking classes for research for a documentary on what it means to be an American Witch.
