THIS IS MY STORY 💥
At 14, I wanted to become a surgeon, but was told by the school advisor to forget about it because my grades weren’t good enough.

From 17 to 29 my life feels like a blur. Finished school with no real future prospects, just followed the heard. Hated uni, suffered from an eating disorder and being overweight. Was very unhappy in my first job, I didn’t fit in.

In my mid thirties, I was diagnosed with ADHD, high potentiality, high EQ and an IQ above 142. Total disbelief by the results, it generated a sense of injustice and made me fight back, believe in myself and trust my instincts. It explained why I could do a lot and adapt to most situations but still don’t quite fit in anywhere. It explains the highs and lows I had been suffering from all these years. It helped me to understand and accept myself. And it definitely helps me grow as a mother & raising my two children.

Founder of The Fabric Sales (2012) a unique digital and physical database B2B / B2C with tens of thousands of textile & accessory references that manages Premium Designer fabric deadstock. Giving fabrics a second life through a dynamic and contemporary approach, reducing waste by boosting a growing diy sewing community and ultimately, generating revenue through reverse logistics.

Previously founder of my own brand A/MG Suits Belgium’s first made to measure women’s suit brand. Worked at branding agency BaseDesign, then for various high end fashion brands as a commercial including Anthony Vaccarello & Maison Michel. Part of the production & coordination teams for fashion shows in Paris and Milan for Thom Browne & Moncler.

Couldn’t put the doctor thing to bed, so ended up marrying one instead and as if I wasn’t already overloaded, did a Masters in Public Health, biostatistics and environmental health just after having my second child, to prove to myself that I can 💪🏻

We all can if we set our minds to it. We just need to surround ourselves with the right people. Never give up. Through Clubhouse, I hope to inspire others to keep fighting in what they believe in, boost their confidence in anyway I can, helping anyone who needs it to evolve and grow.
