Bio

With over 15 years of experience, Ahmed has been working as a GIS professional within a variety of different local and state government sectors, in roles ranging from GIS and data management to sales & marketing and business development.

Ahmed is currently Business Development Manager for the Central Government segment at Esri SA, with responsibilities for Land Administration, Cadastral and Municipalities services. In this role, he interfaces with Esri partners and users, helping clients to understand the direction and focus of Esri technology and to help them meet their requirements and needs.

Prior to joining Esri SA, Ahmed worked in different companies within the GIS ecosystem, ESRI NeA, TAQA Arabia in Egypt, and Dar Al Riyadh, providing GIS services to customers in Saudi Arabia. He was responsible for professional GIS and mapping services, on-site GIS consultancy, and innovative GIS-based solutions for the Municipal sector.
